About the business

12 Year old Italian Pizza and a wide variety of Italian dishes and local seafood, fully licenced restaurant with dine, take away and delivery.

Located in Blairgowrie on the southern end of the Mornington Peninsula the business is seasonal with huge increases in trading in peak times and consistent trade off season.

We have a loyal and discerning local clientele that have enjoyed a consistent standard of food for the past 12 years.

We have an easy going but professional culture that encourages development of our team lead by long term experienced management.  We believe in job satisfaction for our team members. 

 

 

 

 

 

About the role

A consistent, dedicated, reliable, experienced  qualified chef who is able to lead a team of people to produce high standard, quality fresh food happily in both low and at times very high volume.

This is hands on a senior management role that covers the running of the kitchen on a daily basis including areas such as staff management, stock, cleanliness and menu development

It is important that you fit into the current business and its established ways of doing things however there is room for change and with our daily specials plenty of scope for new dishes

Skills and experience

We need a person with strong skills in most areas of the kitchen.  The ability to produce high quality but simple food in volume is essential.  Good stock and preparation management is important to us.  An even temper is essential.
