Cater Care are seeking a Part Time Catering Assistant to work at our Aged Care Facility in Bateau Bay.

The key to our success is our people and your role in this environment is to provide friendly, attentive and efficient service to our valued residents.

Please note: successful applicants will be required to undergo a Police Clearance

Roster: Monday to Friday 4.00pm - 7.30pm

Salary: $20.22 p/h

Key Responsibilities include:

Basic food preparation, plating up and serving food to elderly residents
Responsible for delivery of special diets and diet requirements including allergies/intolerances, supplements and texture modified soft & purees
Customer service, warm friendly interaction with elderly residents
General cleaning of the kitchen and dining areas and extensive washing dishes
Compliance to food safety hygiene and food handling/preparation procedures

Key Attributes required:

Good customer service, strong communication skills
Previous experience within Aged Care food service or working with vulnerable persons
Food handling Certificate or equivalent experience
Ability to work as part of a team

Successful candidates will have previous experience in a similar role working in Aged Care, Health or hospitals, be well presented and self-motivated with a strong focus on customer care.
