A progressive and highly reputable quality assured company located on the Gold Coast requires a hands-on Supervisor to support the Production Manager of our team.
The right person will be responsible for the timely and efficient processing of fruits and vegetables. A core component of the role will be the overseeing of the ongoing compliance of the production shift and the satisfactory completion of all and any shift quality assurance monitoring documents and tests.
Our production facility operates Monday to Friday generally between 6.00am and 6.00pm with some weekend shifts if required.
Essential Criteria:
- Previous experience in a similar role in a production capacity (fresh food manufacturing, catering or commercial kitchen experience) preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in ensuring equipment capacity and resources to match high volume production and yield requirement.
- Working with machinery with the ability to trouble shoot and resolve issues.
- Proven commitment to maintaining all aspects of quality assurance, stock control and reporting.
- Ability to speak, write and read English.
- Experience motivating and managing the team to ensure an efficient, productive and safe environment.
- Ability to cope in a fast paced, high pressure environment.
