HOSPITALITY PROFESSIONAL - VENUE MANAGER
Our leading bar/restaurant/nightclub in Darwin is seeking a
VENUE MANAGER
Your main responsibilities will include but not limited to the following:
Management of staff including:
o Leadership
o Training staff
o Rostering staff
- Assist with Bar and Food menu creation and execution
- Vast product knowledge
- Intuitive promotional skills
- Maintain health, hygiene and safety standards
- Maintaining overall Venue Standards
- Cashing up including till checks and change orders
- Bar and Floor service as required
- Ability to organize functions as required
- Respond to needs of patrons including diffusing and resolving disputes or complaints and filling out incidence reports as and when necessary
- Attend and conduct briefing & training sessions as required
- Report to the owner when required
- Converse with Government Authorities
- Be knowledgeable in targets and KPI's and in particular the incoming and outgoing of the costs of operating a business including staffing, income and stock purchase levels and percentages
APPLICANTS MUST HAVE AND OBSERVE THE FOLLOWING
• Current or obtain RSA and apply for Gaming Machine Managers Licence
• Two years minimum experience in the position of Venue Manager and be able to demonstrate it
• To be able to follow instructions with good communication skills both oral and written
• To provide above standard service to all customers and situations
• Ability to complete rosters & work the rostered shifts, these include days, nights, weekends and in particular public holidays
• A positive and friendly attitude
