The Cove Sports & Community Club (CSCC) is a unique facility with an exciting future. The CSCC is a key asset owned by the City of Marion which provides a home to a diverse range of sporting clubs including BMX, Netball, Soccer, Cricket and Football and looks to serve as a key provider for the provision of community facilities, programs and services run by the CSCC on behalf of the City of Marion. The CSCC Board of Management are seeking a proven professional to become the Facility Manager of this licensed venue. Ideally someone who thinks and acts like a business owner and wants to be rewarded with their efforts through opportunity.
The role is a combination of both hands on and strategic, with the opportunity to deliver on the broader vision for the facility and bring affiliates and user groups on the journey through outstanding communication and service delivery. You will ensure accountability across the venue for consistent standards of excellence and an unwavering commitment to well-defined core values. You will be given support from the CSCC Board, yet you will have the freedom to develop and deliver a strategy focused on building patronage through outstanding customer service.
You will be employed and report directly to the CSCC Board on financials, prepare regular written reports for stakeholders and be accountable for the budget, sales line and net operating surplus.
