Travel Agency Manager
Helloworld Travel Wagga Wagga prides itself on providing exceptional customer service and product knowledge to return clients and new customers.
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and passionate sales professional to join our amazing team as our full time Travel Agency Manager. This is a great opportunity to be a part of the Helloworld brand and enjoy the industry training and development associated with this well-known name in travel.
You will oversee the smooth efficient running of the office, leading a team of up to four staff, with a focus on mentoring coaching and performance. You will also work with our travel consultants and Management Team to achieve and exceed sales targets, whilst providing exceptional customer service to our client base.
Your responsibilities also include but are not limited to:
- Providing effective leadership and support to our travel consultants so that business opportunities and travel sales are maximised.
- Promoting & marketing the business with return and potential customers.
- Identifying areas for improvement, to enhance performance, efficiencies & customer satisfaction
- Fostering a positive team environment
- Building your own customer base
Essential Requirements:
- Demonstrated leadership and people management skills
- Excellent communication skills – both written and oral
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise and deliver outcomes on time
- Proficient computer skills
- Passion for all aspects of travel
- Sales experience with a focus on KPI’s
Ideally you will have at least several years’ experience within the travel industry.
Candidates without travel experience will need to demonstrate exceptional leadership/management skills within a sales environment and have substantial experience as an international traveller.
The successful applicant will have the benefit of a great base rate salary and commission incentives.
