Business Manager – Sydney Central Rail
Delaware North are in the process of building and launching our new hospitality offerings at our iconic Sydney Central Rail site. We are looking for an experienced manager who can assist our Site Manager deliver the site roll out plan and manage our day to day operations.
About the Role
Based Sydney Central Rail Station, you will be accountable for the day to day management of multiple outlets, with the ability to multi task and use your proven time management to achieve accurate financial reporting and management and to achieve company driven targets.
Recruiting and coaching your team is essential to ensure excellent customer service standards are maintained including training and motivating your leadership team whilst ensuring we deliver the highest standards in customer service and product presentation.
Experience in managing teams in both Restaurant and Bars, and café environments will be highly regarded.
Responsibilities
- Effective management of outlets in order to meet strategic and financial goals;
- Ensuring guest satisfaction through the delivery of seamless customer service;
- Leading and motivating the food and beverage team to achieve company and individual outlet goals by being a hands-on manager
- Day-to-day reporting on operational initiatives including the liaison with external and internal suppliers;
- Financial and cost management reporting including payroll, cost of goods and consumables to the Site Manager and Site Accountant;
- Development of Supervisory team to encourage advancement and succession plan for your future growth;
Criteria / Qualifications
- Food Safety Supervisor Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate;
- Approved Manager Card (or willingness to get one)
- Certificate, Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Operations or other related discipline is desirable
