We are expanding rapidly and need to find the best possible people to submit expressions of interest to us and embark with us on our growth journey!

At Oil Industry Catering Services, we do what we say we are going to do and our roles are at the front line, proving you can do just that. We are seeking expressions of interest from the best people, highly skilled in their fields and we pay appropriately for that.

Expressions of interest sought from experienced professionals with Camp Management, Camp Cook and Camp Attendant backgrounds for:

Camp Manager and Cook roles:

  • Liaise with customers directly every day to prepare meals
  • Work with our clients to ensure a safe and friendly camp
  • Work with suppliers and other stakeholders to ensure the camp runs smoothly
  • Be part of a small team that works effectively together every day
  • Take ownership of the wellbeing of your peers, customers and clients in the camp

Camp Cooks will need to already have:

  • Trade qualifications with minimum Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (Australian)
  • Valid First Aid and CPR certification
  • DCGI or ISI (not essential)
  • PMASUP236 Valid Operate Vehicles in Field (4WD) certification (minimum 6 months validity)
  • Extensive professional cooking experience
  • Understanding of HSE and Food Safety systems and reporting
  • A good level of Microsoft Office Suite skills in particular Word, Excel and Outlook
  • A minimum basic understanding of Human Resource management practices and procedures
  • High level communication skills
  • A National Police Clearance valid within 3 months
  • Valid full drivers licence (manual)

Camp Attendant roles:

  • Liaise with customers directly every day
  • Clean rooms and do laundry duties
  • Assist chef with cleaning kitchen and meal areas
  • Assist chef with some preparation of meals
  • Be part of a small team that works together every day to get the work done
  • Take ownership of the wellbeing of your peers, customers and clients in the camp

Camp Attendants will need to already have:

  • Experience in remote site camp attendant work
  • DCGI or ISI
  • PMASUP236 Valid Operate Vehicles in Field (4WD) certification (minimum 6 months validity)
  • Hospitality/front-line service experience
  • Understanding of HSE and Food Safety systems and reporting
  • High level communication skills
  • A National Police Clearance valid within 3 months
  • Valid full drivers licence (manual)

You will need to reside in Queensland within 2.5 hours of Toowoomba to submit your expression of interest due to fatigue management policy.
