About the Role

My client is seeking a professional and dedicated Assistant Manager who has a calm and professional demeanour for this fast-paced, busy environment. This is very much a hands-on role so someone with an interactive leadership style is essential as is excellent communication skills. You will have had experience in a similar environment and be competent and confident in all aspects of the Bar with exposure to back of house duties including menu creation and costing, stock take, budgets, COG's, rosters and ordering. You will have excellent product knowledge and pride yourself on following the latest in food & beverage trends to ensure the venues offering is kept fresh and on trend. Your supportive nature will be a winning asset to this team.

Skills & Attributes;

  • A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar position, holding the same title
  • Gregarious outgoing personality with a touch of sophistication
  • Exceptional communication skills is a must
  • Demonstrative in passion and knowledge of wines and food
  • Passionate, engaged, committed and connected in fulfilling the multiple facets of the role
  • Outgoing, talkative, confident and energetic when speaking with both guests and colleagues
  • Seamlessly juggles time demands
  • People orientated, sensitive and social.
  • Self-disciplined, decisive and focused
  • Articulate and well thought through approach
  • The ability to work under pressure
  • The ability to keep your team motivated and exceeding all KPI's
  • Immaculate presentation
