Our client are brand new to the Melbourne market, having progressed from the heights of Sydney Harbour. Creating a menu that is authentic in process, sympathetic to the seasons and enticing to the local demographic will be key to success. Partnering with 'The Talent Kitchen', our client are seeking a chefs brigade that live to be chefs and see it as a vocation as opposed to a job. Seeking all levels of chef, our client will be open to expressions of interest regarding the following roles
Head Chef | Sous Chef | Junior Sous Chef | CDP | Pastry Chef
Each role will have its own core brief, however the candidates will all possess;
- A fine dining or semi-fine dining background
- Exposure to 'Paddock to plate' cuisine
- A working knowledge of COG's, menu costing and supplier negotiation
- The ability to run all sections independently
- Exposure to Italian or French cuisine (Preferable)
- A minimum Cert III Hospitality and 5 years experience
- Strong tenure in previous positions &
- Contactable referees
The first round of interviews will commence 23rd July 2018 in South Yarra, will final rounds soon after in the CBD.
