One of the largest hotel management groups in Asia Pacific, StayWell Holdings and its parent company Prince Hotels Inc. are searching for a conscientious and results orientated Live in General Manager. The position is based in the Hunter Valley and requires a flexible candidate who is an experienced hands-on operator.

We are looking for a dedicated, customer orientated manager with a minimum of 3 years’ experience as either an Executive Assistant Manager or Hotel Manager. Previous experience in a Managed Letting Rights environment with at least 50 rooms as well as maintenance and front office know-how would be advantageous.

 

The remuneration of this position depends on the candidates' experience, education, and personal attributes and is within the range of $ 60,000 to $65,000 per annum plus government guarantee superannuation. Modern accommodation is provided.

Essential

Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years experience as Hotel Manager or Executive Assistant Manager

Management Letting Rights Experience

50 + rooms

Body corporate management knowledge

Hirum PMS experience

Knowledge/Experience

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Financial understanding and experience in preparing and monitoring budgets

Analysing P&L statements and planning remedial action

Proven knowledge of yield management actions and principles

Computer Skills

Microsoft Office Suite

Back office accounting software

Other

Able to recognise and take advantage of business opportunities

Desirable

First aid certification

Sales and Marketing exposure

Knowledge of the Hunter Valley and the relevant markets, retail and wholesale

Wage Easy experience

Working knowledge of industry benchmarks and able to carry out cost and income margin comparison
