The Y seeks Casual Guest Service Agents who will assist in the growth of hospitality services, and assist in maintaining YMCA Canberra's lead status in group accommodation in the ACT. The Y is known for providing quality facilities, excellent food and customer service. This position is based at Bush Capital Lodge, situated in O'Connor tourist precinct ideal for hosting school and sporting groups visiting Canberra. Bush Capital Lodge is a purpose built facility providing visiting group accommodation in a motel style setting.
What is expected from you: (selection criteria)
Demonstrated experience in a previous role will be highly regarded.

High level customer service

Answer reservation enquiries via telephone and email in an effective and efficient manner providing a high standard of customer service

Managing guest expectations and ensuring guest satisfaction

Processing Reservation system data

Create and maintain effective hard copy files

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with the team
- Ability to work flexible hours including rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays
- A Working with Vulnerable People Registration card
- Acceptance and adherance to YMCA policies, procedures and core values.
