We are looking for an exceptional Part Time Patient Care Coordinator to join the team in our Goondiwindi clinic. The role will initially be 3 days per week but we envisage it transitioning in time to full time.

About the role:

This is a unique opportunity for a graduate looking to move into the audiometry sector and be involved in tele audiometry / tele consulting.

You will be the face to our patients as they interact remotely with our experienced Audiometrists via tele consulting

In addition to managing face to face interactions with our patients,  you will also be responsible for all administration associated with running our clinic including:

  •  Handling incoming calls - both internal and external to the organisation.
  • Screening telephone calls, fielding inquires and requests and escalating urgent matters
  • Receiving visitors to the organisation 
  • Receiving and processing orders from customers and ensuring that they are expeditiously filled in accordance with established procedures
  • Maintaining accurate records of all work as required
  • Maintaining effective hard and soft copy filing systems
  • Collating and distributing weekly reports

You will have:

  • Degree qualifications in Science / Life Sciences /Nursing
  • A strong desire to build a career in Audiometry
  • Experience in a similar role or a passion for customer service and helping others
  • Previous experience in an audiology clinic/allied health preferable
  • High level organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks
  • Excellent personal presentation skills
  • Excellent communication (both written and verbal) skills
  • Computer literacy with intermediate PC and administration skills
  • The ability to interact with patients in a friendly and courteous manner
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • A proactive and flexible approach to work
  • Ability to work autonomously, employ initiative to find solutions, prioritise and exercise discretion
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • The ability to work under pressure
