An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced senior nurse wanting to develop and expand on their leadership and clinical education skills.
Located on the edge of Adelaide's CBD adjacent to the beautiful south eastern park lands, St Andrew's is the largest independent private Hospital in Australia, with more than 30,000 procedures being performed each year.
Our patients are admitted electively or via our Emergency Service, and we cater for most surgical specialties.
About The Role:
Ward 3A specialises in the care of patients undergoing a variety of treatments for cancer related conditions. The ward also cares for patients admitted for breast surgery and breast reconstructive surgery. The hospital's Breast Care Nurses are based here and work closely with the patients and MDT.
The Clinical Nurse:
- Promotes a culture of clinical excellence that is based on person-centred care to deliver safe, quality care and services
- Works with the Clinical Manager and Night Duty Coordinator to ensure compliance with all standards, hospital policies/procedures, Work Health & Safety legislation
- Relieves into the position of Night Duty Coordinator (RN3) as required
Hours
Hours will be negotiated with the successful Registered Nurse. The ideal candidate would work a minimum of 6 night shifts per fortnight, rostered flexibly across a 2 week pay cycle. Night shifts are 2215 - 0700.

About You:
Our preferred candidate will be a Registered Nurse with significant experience in Oncology Nursing.
In addition, candidates will need to demonstrate:
- Relevant and recent acute clinical experience
- Strong organisation and prioritization skills
- The ability to lead a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Current registration with AHPRA
- A commitment to delivering best practice patient care.
Relevant Post Graduate qualifications will be highly regarded and attract a qualification allowance.
