Develop a new team in a new hospital setting
5 years clinical perioperative experience
2 years unit/dept management experience

About the Company

Our clients fully accredited Day Surgery is equipped with modern facilities and professional staff. Procedures are performed on a same-day basis and include Ophthalmology, Endoscopy, Gynaecological and IVF procedures.

The Role

The DON is responsible for the provision of support and professional development for all staff, budget management, equipment maintenance and ensuring State licensing and accreditation compliance & people management through building and maintaining relationships.

An ideal role for a current Director of Nursing/Clinical Nurse Manager or an OT NUM

Qualifications

Bachelor in Nursing
AHPRA Registration - no restrictions
5 years clinical perioperative experience
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a role such as OT NUM or Unit Manager
Post Graduate Qualifications would be beneficial

Skills

A customer service focus for VMOs, Patients & employees
Excellent communication, leadership & conflict resolution skills
Desire to embrace change, demonstrate initiative in a consultative environment
Knowledge of NSQHS accreditation
