ASHTON AVENUE DENTAL is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant and Clinical coordinator to join our team on a part-time with strong possibility of full-time for the right candidate. We are seeking a highly motivated and flexible individual who is experienced in all facets of working in a dental practice and will involve providing quality dental care, and exceptional customer service to our patients.

Our practice provides a comprehensive range of services and adheres to a consistent high standards of service. 

Key Responsibilities

• Assist chair-side during dental procedures.
• Sound working knowledge of current infection control techniques, sterilisation and instrument re-processing and tracking protocols.
• Prepare for dental procedure
• Advise patients of care
• Direct paperless charting and record keeping.

The ideal candidate MUST have:

• Minimum of Cert III OR IV qualification with 1 year post qual experience
• Proven chair side experience in General Dental Practice.
• Knowledge of Dental 4 Windows 
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Demonstrated initiative, time-management & flexibility
• Ability multi-task and prioritize time management.
• Strong written & verbal communication skills
• High standard of presentation
• Attention to detail
• Team player with ability to build rapport with patients, Dentists and employees.
• Professional attitude
• Compassionate and understanding
• Be able to work in a fast paced environment
