Drake Medox are seeking compassionate and experienced disability support workers for our client based in Glenmore Park.

This is a great opportunity to make a difference in an individual’s life as well as increase your working knowledge through client specific training.

Your positive attitude as well as client respect will be the most important aspect of your role. 

The role consists of the following:

•Palliative care and support

•Supporting a client who suffers from epilepsy

•Set in a family friendly environment

•Supporting a client to achieve the very best in life and helping them work towards their goals

To join this team you will have the following as a minimum

•Australian Drivers Licence (mandatory)

•National Criminal Check

• First Aid Certificate•Current working with children’s check (paid work clearance)

•12 months experience working in Disability/Aged Care

•2 relevant reference checks

•Australian Work Rights Verification

To be considered for this role you must hold the following skills as a minimum

- PEG Feeding

- Seizure Management

- Medication Competency

- Manual Handling

Those who have the following attributes would be highly regarded for this team

:•Tactful and socially considerate

•Willing to assist in the time of need

•Positive, open minded, respectful and reliable

•Experience in palliative care advantageous but not essential

•Exposure or experience with Epilepsy and auto immune viruses

•Due to client requirements females highly encouraged to apply
