Ability Health Solutions is seeking a highly skilled, experienced and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join a community based OT private practice on a permanent Part-time (3-4 days, negotiable) or Full-time basis for the right candidate with flexible work options.    You will be committed to providing best practice, enjoy challenges and working autonomously.  Opportunity for Grade 2 or Grade 3 (Senior) equivalent role depending candidate experience.  

Ability Health Solutions is focussed on providing the highest quality occupational therapy services.  All services are provided in the client's home, community, or within a facility/ organisation.  Key services include occupational therapy assessment, treatment, equipment prescription, home modifications, consultancy, ADL and care needs assessments.

The role also presents a great opportunity for an OT to develop their skills in manual handling services (i.e. training, assessment) if this is an area of interest.  Note: Not an essential requirement to apply. 

OT services are provided to clients across a wide range of clinical diagnoses and disabilities, primarily adult population, including those with complex clinical needs.  Clients include private clients, TAC / Worksafe, NDIS, DVA, and organisations.   

You will receive regular clinical support and supervision.

The role includes flexible working options - work from home &/or office, flexible work hours and conditions.   

Attractive salary options based on level of experience - above EBA equivalent..

The successful applicant will have:

  • Excellent communication & report writing skills
  • High level clinical OT skills, ability to work autonomously and motivated
  • A minimum of 5 years experience working as an OT
  • Community OT role experience
  • Current Victorian driver's license and own reliable car - Travel Allowance paid. 
  • Current registration as an OT with AHPRA
  • A member of OT Australia Association (or willing to join)
  • A current Police Check and Working with Children Check
