Central Queensland Radiology (CQR) is part of the Imaging Queensland network – an innovative and privately owned Queensland Radiology Company. We operate 20 practices with a commitment to excellence across Central Queensland, the Sunshine Coast and Northern Brisbane. Our practices provide high-quality diagnostic imaging, including CT, Mammography, BMD, general X-Ray, Ultrasound, MRI and Nuclear Medicine.

Due to our continued growth CQR is seeking an experienced Business Relationship Manager / Medical Client Liaison to promote and support our quality services throughout our Central Queensland and Capricorn Coast region, including Rockhampton, Gladstone and Emerald.

The successful candidate will consult with key stakeholders, enhance awareness of CQR, grow our referral base and provide deep engagement with local healthcare providers, including Doctors, Specialists, Surgeons, Chiropractors, Physiotherapists, Dentists, and Orthodontists. You will have an in-depth understanding of the medical community and possess the ability to successfully develop and nurture relationships through information evenings, clinical improvement sessions, reporting support and other strategies.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Proven networking aptitude for business growth and delivery of services
  • Flexibility to work varied hours to attend out of hour’s clinical information evenings and network opportunities
  • CRM experience maintaining a referrer database
  • Engaging professional style to build rapport with referring Doctors, Practice Managers and Reception Staff, with the ability to deliver exceptional service
  • Ability to work independently, resourcefully and be self-motivated
  • Excellent organisational skills to plan, promote and execute promotional lunches, information evenings and any other events as required
  • Be technically minded to ensure referrers are well supported. An understanding of medical terminology is preferred. Experience with PACs or Radiology reporting programs is an advantage.

It is essential you hold:

  • Current Drivers Licence as this role is mainly field based
  • Proven medical sales, networking or business development experience
  • Qualification in Health Science, Business or Sales will be highly regarded
