Healthcare Imaging Services (HIS) currently operates over 140 imaging centres in Australia, performing more than 2.2 million examinations annually. HIS provides a full variety of imaging centres including public hospitals, private hospitals and community based centres and employs over 2,000 technical, nursing and administrative staff.

HIS is currently looking for a motivated Radiology Practice Manager to join the HIS operational team across our four well-established practices in Perth offering administrative and operational support.
 
Reporting to the Perth Operations Manager, you be required to look after the clerical/reception staff across our Radiology practices in Perth and provide day to day operational support to the Operations Manager.
 
The main location of the role is flexible, you can choose to work from any of our practices based at Morley, Craigie, Cannington or Rockingham.
 
Your responsibilities in managing the clerical staff will include:
  • Performing all reception duties
  • Management and maintenance of staff rostering
  • Induction and training
  • Conducting Billing audits
  • Performance management
  • High customer service standards
  • Sick leave management
  • Ability to problem solve and resolve conflict in a complex environment
  • Working in accordance with all Company policies including OH&S
Your responsibilities in managing the operations support will include:
  • Annual leave management
  • WHS
  • Stock management
  • Co-ordinated Heads Of Department meetings and task completion
  • Radiologist and Caching Rosters
  • Kronos shift administrator
  • Conflict Management
  • Booking Efficiency and Scheduling
  • Monitor compliance with TAT
  • Minor report amendments/pathology
  • Regulatory /credential/Medicare management
  • Participate Business development activities
  • Other duties as required
You should possess the following skills:
  • Recent experience in a clerical supervisory role
  • Experience in staffing training, monitoring and recruitment
  • Experience in rostering staff across a seven day week
  • Extensive knowledge of Medicare and Private Insurance billing
  • Strong leadership & customer service skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated abilities in dealing with difficult people in a complex environment
  • Ability to prioritise a busy workload
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Flexibility to travel to different sites
  • An appropriate Australian or New Zealand work visa
