Arjo has a fantastic opportunity for an Area Manager with experience in capital sales to join our passionate, highly driven and successful sales team. The primary focus of the roles is to achieve target by selling and promoting Arjo products & services to new and existing customers within the Acute Hospital sector and within Disability & Community & Aged Care facilities across South East Sydney.

We offer a competitive remuneration package with the prospect of building a long term career within this global company. The commission package has an exciting uncapped component to incentivise going over and above on the annual growth target.

We are looking for a person to consistently achieve their annual sales target by:

  • Targeting new accounts for future growth;
  • Maintaining existing accounts and increase sales through the introduction of new product ranges;
  • Implementing the company product strategies within the sales field;
  • Networking widely with key opinion leaders throughout the NSW healthcare facilities, including engagement with health executives in order to identify, grow, develop and maintain key customer relationship
  • Developing a strategic plan to meet the regions objectives and;
  • Leading annual market analysis by intelligence gathering on customers and competitors

 

To be successful in this position, you will possess:

  • The preferred candidate will have:
    • At least 5 years clinical and/or sales experience in critical, acute care and/or Aged Care, selling directly into the hospital environment
    • Capital sales experience
    • Outstanding consultative selling abilities and excellent interpersonal skills with all potential customers in a facility from executive level customers to staff nurses;
    • Local knowledge of the healthcare market and established relationships with potential customers
    • An obvious passion for exceeding your customer's expectations
    • A 'new' business mentality with a strong desire to succeed exemplified by a proven sales record and ability to meet quotas
    • Polished; a strong impact and presence with the ability to motivate and influence people. A clear communicator
    • A proven ability to work collaboratively with both customers and colleagues to achieve the desired outcomes
    • Commercial awareness to take full ownership of the region to
    • Ability to work under pressure. Energetic, highly motivated and able to negotiate around challenging scenarios
    • Excellent organisational, time management, planning and analytical skills
    • A high level of exposure and comfort in various health care/medical settings and environments (i.e. hospitals, long-term care or disability accommodation, mental health facilities)
    • A high level of empathy and sensitivity to patients, residents and staff in health and medical settings
    • Proficient computer skills

       

  • The following attributes may be accepted for outstanding candidates on a case by case basis
    •  5 years pharmaceutical sales experience into the hospital environment with the ability to thrive in the demands that come with moving to a new sector within medical device and capital sales;
    • Knowledge of the Australian healthcare environment from selling into other LHD’s within Australia;
