Mid Coast Podiatry is a growing business in the beautiful Manning Valley, based in Taree, NSW. We are looking for someone to work four days a week, but we are open to part-time options. An interest in biomechanics and rehab would be ideal, as are skills in dry needling and mobilization, but not essential. New graduates are welcome to apply and encoruaged to do so. We are looking for someone who has good attention to detail, is patient, enjoys work and importantly, someone who fits in with our team.
The clinic covers all aspects of podiatry, we are really working to develop the service around biomechanics and paediatrics. However, general treatments/diabetic foot assessments etc. are vital to the practice and not an area to be neglected. I believe CPD is important and it is actively encouraged. We have top of the range equipment, including 3D scanners and an In-Shoe pressure measurement system.
The Manning Valley is 3 hours from Sydney, Forster-Tuncurry is 25min away, Port Macquarie 45min. This area really does bring the beach and the bush together, so if you are looking for a sea or tree change, this might be the place for you. There is also the possiblity of a grant through the Rural Doctors Network for those locating from a metropolitan area, which can help with rental/moving costs.
