Salary: $88,171 - $95,444 p.a. (pro rata) plus 9.5% superannuation

The Peter Doherty Institute for Infection and Immunity is joint venture between the University of Melbourne and The Royal Melbourne Hospital, combining research, teaching, public health and reference laboratory services, diagnostic services and clinical care in infectious diseases and immunity.

We are seeking a highly motivated Project Manager to provide high level co-ordination and administrative support for a range of HIV Cure activities, including clinical studies, research projects, international collaborations and community liaison. They will be responsible for maintaining project meeting schedules, coordination of meetings and key documents, and maintenance of communications across HIV Cure activities. They will also be required to assist with the preparation of funding applications and funding body reporting requirements, including the preparation of progress reports and monitoring of budgets for selected activities. The Project Manager will work closely with the Director, and report to the Research Manager of the Doherty Department.

To be successful in applying for this role, you will be a dedicated team player and have demonstrated experience in management of complex projects in the research sector. Experience in the coordination and management of clinical research projects will be advantageous.
