The Role:

Our Cockatoo Ward currently has full time and part time Registered Nurse opportunities available. The Cockatoo Unit provides comprehensive care to patients with Neurological, Neurosurgical, Endocrine, Metabolic and Gastroenterological conditions. We are a 30 bed unit caring for patients aged from infancy to adolescence from all over Victoria, Australia, and Internationally. To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with APHRA.
  • A positive attitude and a genuine interest in exceptional family centred care.
  • Recent experience in an acute, medical, surgical, and/or speciality area of nursing.
  • Paediatric experience is desirable.
  • Evidence of on-going professional development as reflected in Professional Practice Portfolio.
