- Accommodation available for first 6-8 weeks
Physiotherapist required for permanent role with regional health services located just a 5 hour drive from Melbourne. Join a small allied health team to provide physiotherapy services across a generalist setting. This will include:
- Community based role, with outreach (one day per week) and cover of small multi-purpose facility.
- Outpatient setting – presentations include musculoskeletal (shoulders, backs and knees), post-operative rehab (total hip and knee replacements), chronic pain, general reconditioning and gait aid prescription. The caseload also includes some work cover and TAC patients.
- Hospital presentations - mobility review, step down management of fractures and post-operative rehab, chest physiotherapy or gait aid prescription.
The role is open to Grade 1 or Grade 2 Physiotherapists with GENERAL registration with AHPRA. You will work as the sole Physiotherapist on the team with support/supervision available from an experienced Physiotherapist based in a neighbouring town. Initial accommodation available for 6-8 weeks, $140 per week. Grade 1 or Grade 2 salary + super + salary sacrificing.
This regional town has a large sporting community, including football, netball, cycling, triathlon and water sports. Located along the Murray River, you can enjoy water-skiing, canoeing, fishing, boating, swimming, camping and bush walking. This town is a popular tourist destination and has great dining, bars and all the facilities required to feel at home.
