ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a full time position, and located at SummitCare Penrith (Western Sydney region).
As the Manager Care & Services, you will be reporting to the General Manager and leading the delivery of care that celebrates our residents and their life stories.
Your love of nursing and strong experience means you are a true professional, and you'll gain satisfaction from implementing evidence based best practice; managing assessment, care planning and medication; monitoring staff practice; mentoring others and liaising with clients & health professionals.
ABOUT YOU
We are seeking applicants with recent management experience in a clinical arena.
You will have:

Qualifications in Gerontology / Aged Care Management / Business Management
-
Current registration with AHPRA (RN essential)
-
Previous experience in the complaints management process
-
A good working knowledge of clinical governance and ACFI
-
The ability to lead and build teams – and be a team player
-
High level communication skills and be client focussed
-
Ability to be innovative in the provision of clinical care in Aged Care
-
Proficiency and understanding of computer applications and electronic care management system
