The Opportunity
South Coast Dental Care at Moruya currently has a rewarding opportunity for a casual Dental Assistant to join our friendly team for 1-2 days per week as well as cover holiday/ sick leave when needed. This is a rare opportunity to utilise your dental experience in conjunction with your people skills and attention to detail.
  
About the Practice
Our practice in Moruya is a two surgery practice centrally situated in the Eurobodalla Shire. This long established dental practice prides themselves on delivering high quality dental services with a strong emphasis placed on patient comfort and satisfaction. Our experienced dentists offer a variety of services including many general dental services and a range of cosmetic dentistry options. Our surgery is open Monday to Friday with nearby parking.
  
The role
Exceptional care of patients and a high standard of assistance to the dentist are essential requirements to the success of this role. Some of your tasks may include:

• Chair side assisting
• Patient records maintenance
• High standards of infection control
• Ability to multitask
• Sterilising and instrument processes
• Interaction with office staff
• Maintaining a clean and healthy clinical environment
• Room preparation

  
To be successful in this role you will have the following attributes:

• Previous experience as a Dental Assistant highly regarded but not essentail
• Desire to deliver exceptional service
• Willingness to learn and contribute to the team
• Friendly and positive attitude
• Hygiene awareness 
• Excellent patient communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
