Your responsibilities will include:

• The role is accountable for the effective management of all manufacturing activities (Aseptic Fill, Inspect or Finishing (Packing)) at the Melbourne site.
• Drive a proactive safety and quality culture across the value stream to deliver products Right First Time. The role requires the ability to run manufacturing/Packaging in a highly regulated and global environment and deliver on site goals and objectives.

• Manage robust development/training plans for direct and indirect reports to build capability and pipeline of talent in production.
• Mentoring/coaching of colleagues within the Value Stream.
• Foster an environment of continuous improvement to enable site to transform to World Class standards.   

To be considered for this opportunity you will have:

• A degree in Chemical Engineering (or relevant Engineering/Science discipline) with >10 years’ experience within the pharmaceutical/manufacturing environment.

• Experience running an operation with Lean /Six sigma principles preferred.
• Leading team through change management.
• Strong Leadership attributes and ability to manage conflicting priorities.
• Sound knowledge of Aseptic filling.
