MannaCare is a community based not-for-profit organisation which supports older people living in the Eastern region. MannaCare provides and maintains a range of services, including Residential Aged Care and Community Care. Our Community Care services encompass Home Care Packages, MCA FlexiCare, Home Maintenance Service, Community Respite & Social Support, and Rehabilitation (DRS) & GymActive.
Doncaster Rehabilitation Services (DRS) provides allied health and therapy services that assist older people to regain or maintain physical, functional and cognitive abilities, thereby facilitating them to remain living in the community. Services include physiotherapy, exercise physiology, occupational therapy and podiatry.
Due to growth in the community services area, we have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Grade 1 or Grade 2 Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our DRS Service area, on a part time basis, working approximately 32 hours per fortnight.
The successful candidate/s will possess the following:
- Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy and current AHPRA practicing certificate
- Demonstrated high level knowledge and interest in Aged Care
- Meet all legislative requirements within the Aged Care industry
- Strong organisational, time management and communication skills
- Ability to work with a diverse range of clients, with a focus on holistic, client-centred practice and quality control
- Current and clear police check or willingness to attain one
- Current Victorian Driver's licence
- Experience within Aged Care desired, but new graduates encouraged to apply
