The Melbourne Health (MH) Imaging Service is seeking a talented, committed, energetic and appropriately experienced Operations Manager with proven senior management experience who is ready to take that next step in advancing their career.
About Us:
Melbourne Health is a leading health care provider of acute, sub-acute and community based programs. The MH Imaging Service performs over 215,000 emergency, inpatient and outpatient diagnostic and therapeutic procedures per annum across the following sites: RMH – City Campus, Private Imaging located in the Private Medical Centre, and RMH – Royal Park Campus.
Our Department:
The Imaging Department offers a comprehensive range of imaging services, with state-of-the-art equipment and a 24 hours 7 day week coverage. The service has an outstanding record in research and innovation, and is a leading Victorian training site for Radiology & Nuclear Medicine Registrars and Medical Imaging Technologists & Nuclear Medicine Technologists.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Director of Imaging, this dynamic and challenging position will be responsible for the operational and strategic management of both the public and private imaging (Radiology and Nuclear Medicine, RMH Private Imaging) services within Melbourne Health.
Some of the key qualities the successful applicant will have include:
- Proven record of achievement as an operational manager in a hospital and/or imaging environment; Outstanding communication, teamwork, project management and leadership qualities;
- Commitment to leading continuous improvements to ensure a high quality and accessible radiology service is provided;
- Highly developed staff engagement and change management skills;
- The ability to foster a cohesive team environment;
- Proven track record of achievement as an operational manager in a hospital and/or imaging environment;
- Effective internal and external stakeholder relationship management skills.
