About us

Success Speech Therapy is a small private practice located south of the river in Success that delivers speech therapy services to children, adolescents and adults with varying needs. Services are provided predominantly at our clinic but are also offered in the community at client's homes or schools. Our aim is to provide family centered therapy based on sound clinical judgement and rationale to achieve goals.

 

About the role

We are looking for an experienced speech pathologist to join our team in a maternity cover contract position. This role is currently 3 days a week with regular referrals likely to result in a full time caseload. For the right candidate a permanent position may be offered beyond the maternity cover.

 

Duties and responsibilities

  • Provide a range of speech and language assessment and intervention to clients of all ages.
  • Work collaboratively with families and the client to set realistic goals and develop a comprehensive therapy plan.
  • Manage a caseload of clients.
  • Complete daily administration duties
  • Promote Success Speech Therapy in a positive light through interactions with community and stakeholders as requested

Skills and experience

  • Completion of a relevant university degree
  • 1 - 2 years minimum experience post university with a paediatric caseload
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, flexibly and reliably.
  • Demonstrated ability to show initiative in planning and implementing therapy with clients.
  • Strong written and oral language skills

 

Offer of Employment is conditional to the candidate holding the following

  • Current registration with Speech Pathology Australia
  • Current Working With Children Check
  • Current National Police Clearance
  • Valid Driver's Licence and own transport
