An exciting opportunity currently exists for a motivated, team orientated and high performing Senior Sonographer based at The Northern Hospital in Epping.
 
Forming part of the Healthcare Imaging Services network, the Northern Hospital Radiology offers a broad range of imaging services in the inpatient and outpatient setting. Northern Health is one of Victoria's busiest public health services. The acute and sub-acute health services cover a local community of approximately 728,000 people and our emergency department treats almost 70,000 patients each year.

 Personal Competencies
  • Demonstrate ability in providing patient care and customer service delivery standards
  • Perform ultrasound duties in accordance with practice instructions
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Strong work ethic
  • Demonstrate ability in dealing with difficult people in a complex environment
  • Ability to follow instructions and take direction from Senior Medical staff and management
  • Demonstrate understanding of OH&S practices
 Essential Criteria:
  • Competency in all aspects including General, MSK, Vascular and Obstetrics
  • ASAR Accreditation
  • Minimum of three years' post graduate experience is required- This role is not suitable for Trainees
  • Australian / New Zealand Residency or a valid work visa 
  • National Police Check
  • Working with Children Check
You will be expected to participate in the on-call roster and in addition, highly developed communication skills and a positive attitude is essential.
