We are seeking experienced medical receptionist to join our team of doctor owned New general practice with Great Potential!!

Location.

  • Oakhill Village Shopping centre (Castle Hill, Sydney) , Easy parking, good school, friendly close community

Position.

  • Casual  partime or full time
  • varied hours depending on your availability and experience. Flexible 5-9 hours shifts available.
  • commencing date Early Aug 2018
  • Monday to Friday( 8 am -6:30 pm) Saturday  9am -1 pm
  • Pay rate will be determined based on skills and experience.

Requirements

Aiming to provide smooth and efficient functioning of the practice and provide quality standard of care to our patients.

  • Friendly, positive and proactive attitude, Dynamic customer service skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, be capable of multi tasking 
  • Strong computer and typing skills, previous knowledge of Medical Director and Pracsoft highly is preferred
  • Preferably minimum full time equivalent 6 months of GP medical reception experience 
  • Cash Handling and EFTPOS / TYRO experience
  •  punctual, reliable and honest.
  • Excellent English written and verbal skills & exceptional phone manner. Speaking  Chinese is extra Bonus.
  • Be available for approximately  minimum 16-24 hours / week, and at 1:2  Saturday half day 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answering incoming calls, greeting patients,
  • Scanning, faxing and printing documents as per requirement
  • Booking and scheduling appointments, Billing, processing payments, issuing receipts and daily banking
  • Processing Medicare claims, DVA claims, EFTPOS and HICAPS payments
  • Liaising with GP's and Nurses 
  • To  complete other clerical duties as assigned
  • maintain stock of forms , office supplies and medical supplies
  • ensure reception area and clinic is well maintained, neat and clean
  • General housekeeping such as tidying and cleaning of waiting  room etc. when necessary
