Our client is a large not-for-profit organisation that is well-known around Australia. They are looking for a number of staff members to join their Early Childhood team. The role will located in Ipswich, QLD.
About the role:
You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team to service an early childhood age group (under 7 years old). Your roles and responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
- Contacting families after initial referral
- Identifying the child and the family’s goals
- Helping families to understand eligibility requirements, functional goals and available supports
- Conducting specialist and general assessment to identify target areas, develop functional goals, and develop short term interventions
- Report writing
- Providing short to medium term specialist and general interventions to children and their families
- Developing and maintaining external community relationships

About you:
- Tertiary qualifications in Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy
- Appropriate registration with relevant board (AHPRA)
- Recent police certificate
- Australian drivers licence
- WWCC
- Desirable: experience working with an early childhood age-group
- Desirable: Knowledge of NDIS
