Melbourne Orthopaedic Group

An exciting new opportunity exists for a suitably qualified Medical Officer to join a large

and dynamic private orthopaedic group in the position of unaccredited Orthopaedic

Surgery Registrar. This is a temporary position for a 12 month period commencing

February 2019

Melbourne Orthopaedic Group is a group of 15 dedicated orthopaedic surgeons offering a

comprehensive range of subspecialty orthopaedic surgery. The Group has a proud history

of providing excellence in orthopaedic care and research.

The successful applicant will require previous experience as an orthopaedic registrar with

the future aim of qualifying for AOA accredited training. Applicants should possess

exceptional organisational and interpersonal skills. The position will require a commitment

to excellence in patient management and will involve a component of clinical research.

Remuneration will be equivalent to that of a similarly qualified hospital medical officer.

Applicants must have General Registration with AHPRA and be an Australian Citizen or

Permanent Resident. The successful applicant will be required to consent to and undergo

a Police Record Check.
