We have several sites that are in need of passionate, professional, efficient, friendly medical receptionists. This will be a career decision and not just a job. We NEED to have the best.
The person for this role must have commitment, dedication, excellent communication skills, initiative with the ability to work under pressure and autonomously.
Rotating monthly roster with one Saturday morning a month.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
1. Professional appearance, confident
2. Ability to interpret regulations and guidelines and to act on and provide advice in accordance with the appropriate instructions.
3. Ability to act independently and as a member of a small team, including an ability to set priorities and take appropriate action. Ability to undertake new tasks quickly, be flexible and respond effectively to challenges and meet deadlines.
4. High level of computer literacy particularly in the use of Microsoft Word, Access and Excel and an ability to develop new skills in the use of other computer systems such as MD and Pracsoft.
5. Quick learner able to comple additional training if required
6. Skills in triage of patients
Desirable
- Current CPR and First Aid Certificate
- Demonstrate understanding of Accreditation procedures and policies.
- Experience with Medicare online claiming, DVA and work cover claims.
