Our client is a large Aged Care Company who are looking to recruit a locum Physiotherapist for an Aged Care facility in Cairns between 23rd July-10th August.
This is a great opportunity to work in the Cairns area and experience the natural surroundings. This is a short term locum for three weeks but we have regular locums come up in this area so could lead to something else.
About the role:
Work within a residential aged care facility providing services to elderly clients. The length of this contract can be negotiable depending on availability. Your roles and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
- Comprehensive assessments
- Rehabilitation and reconditioning
- Pain management services
- Group therapy
- Falls prevention program
About you:
To be successful for this role, you will be passionate about person-centred care. In addition, you will also have the following:
-Tertiary qualifications in Physiotherapy
-AHPRA registration
