An exciting opportunity currently exists for Personal Care Workers to join to join the casual pool at our Eltham Facility. As a casual employee, we require you to have flexible availability across - mornings, afternoons, evenings and nights, both weekdays and weekends. Our Eltham facility has both nursing home and cottages requiring Personal Care Workers and we encourage applicants to apply who share a genuine desire to care and assist residents with a strong person centred care focus.

To be successful in your application you will need to demonstrate:

• Previous experience in a similar role;
• Certificate III in Individual Support / Certificate III Aged Care or similar qualification essential;
• Previous experience with Autumn Care (desirable);
• An ability to provide personal care that is consistent with the mission and philosophy of our organisation;
• Ability to follow directives as per can plan;
• An ability to work within a multidisciplinary team;
• An understanding of Aged Care and resident rights and responsibilities;
• Great time management, bedside and communication skills;
• Strong English written and verbal communication skills.
