Nuclear Medicine Technologist

PET-CT & SPECT 

Mater Imaging, North Sydney

 

Mater Imaging is a private independent radiology practice focused on delivering quality, patient focused in and out patient services within the Mater Hospital, North Sydney.

The company prides themselves with friendly experienced staff, and by providing efficient, reliable, sub specialised reports.

A opportunity awaits for a dynamic, experienced, and professional trained Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join a multi-disciplinary team. Remuneration is negotiable with your level of experience.

The practice offers a range of imaging services to its patients including digital general X-Ray, theatre, and mobile, as well CT, ultrasound, MRI, EOS, Nuclear Medicine examinations and a range of interventional procedures.

The site has Siemens and GE equipment - Symbia T with SPECT and a brand new GE Healthcare PET-CT Discovery MI. 

 

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Performing high quality nuclear medicine examinations in accordance with imaging protocols and ethics to ensure service delivery standards are consistently met.
  • Consistently delivering a high quality service and care to patients.
  • Carrying out work tasks independently whilst still maintaining open communication with all team members to ensure optimal patient flow.

 

Essential criteria:

  • Current AHPRA registration and radiation licence
  • Diagnostic CT licence
  • PET & hot-lab experience
  • Minimum 2 years clinical experience
  • Ability to work well in a team environment of both technical and clerical staff
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong patient focus/ customer service
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Available to work shifts between the hours of 7:30am and 5pm.
