About the business and the role
Registered Nurse - Clinical Care (Full Time)
Benhome provides residential aged care and community care services to the Maitland community. Currently we provide 124 residential Aged care places as well as Home Care Packages via a dedicated Home Care team.
Job tasks and responsibilities
We are seeking a full time Registered nurse (7 day rotating roster) to strengthen services offered to our residents as they age in place. Benhome is forging a relationship with the local hospital Palliative Care Team to strengthen Palliative Care support for our residents.
The successful applicant will:
- Provide holistic care to residents, including care for their physical social and mental wellbeing and safety.
- Provide clinical leadership and case management to residents.
- Support ACFI and accreditation processes.
- Supervise and support care staff teams.
- Promote and ensure a Person Centred Focus.
Essential
- A passion for aged care and previous experience working with the elderly.
- Exceptional clinical and documentation skills.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
- Knowledge and experience working with ACFI.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Good time management ability
- Current satisfactory police certificate.
- Current AHPRA nursing registration.
