Registered Nurse St Gabriel's Adolescent/Paediatric Unit - Part-time, Contract

We are inviting applications from experienced Registered Nurses for fixed term position at St Vincent’s Private Hospital Toowoomba’s Adolescent/Paediatric Unit. Our unit is the only private paediatric unit within the Darling Downs region and staff pride themselves on providing outstanding care underpinned by St Vincent’s Private Hospital Toowoomba’s Values of Compassion, Justice, Integrity and Excellence. St Gabriels Adolescent/Paediatric Unit is a12 bed unit and provides nursing care from infants through to adolescents, with conditions requiring medical and surgical interventions.
We are looking for nurses who:
- Have at least 1 year post registration experience. Preferable applicants would have recently worked in a paediatric setting with relevant Paediatric qualifications, or willingness to commence university studies within first 12 months of employment to obtain Paediatric qualifications.
- Are an excellent communicator, with the ability to multi-task and prioritise in a busy environment of competing demands with a strong focus on family centred care.
- Registered Nurses must be registered or eligible for registration with the Australian health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Temporary Part-time position is available.

- Possess flexibility across all shifts including night duty.
Responsibilities include:
Ensuring excellent customer service;
- Direct delivery of patient care;
- Adherence to key performance indicators.
