Located on NSW's Lake Macquarie district, Bayside Aged Care enjoys the coastal lifestyle of the Bonnell's Bay community. A modern purpose built Home, Bayside provides for all levels of permanent and respite care with a dedicated Memory Support neighbourhood providing a secure place for residents living with dementia to enjoy their interests and have access to the support and care appropriate to specific lifestyle needs.
We are seeking a Registered Nurse with a commitment to best practice to join the team on a 6 month part time basis (Wednesday - Friday mornings). The successful candidate will be passionate about Aged Care and have experience.
The role:
- Deliver high quality clinical care to our residents
- Complete initial assessments
- Maintain and update care plans
- Liaise with visiting medical officers and allied health professionals
- Develop positive relationships with resident families
- Comply with all Aged Care mandatory reporting processes
- Update and maintain all medical records, reports, and associated documentation
You:
- Focused on quality care
- Current AHPRA Registration
- Knowledge of Aged Care Accreditation
- Understanding of ACFI is preferred
- Demonstrated ability to be able to manage a team
- Excellent clinical ability
- Keen eye for detail
- Effective communication skills
The successful applicant will be required to provide/undertake a current police check, specific to Aged Care/Vulnerable people, prior to appointment.
