About the role

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Manager to lead our teams in VIC and TAS. This role will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of sales, installations and training for customers in Victoria and Tasmania.

Responsibilities:

  • Pursue and generate sales leads.
  • Excellent communication skills including the ability to promote Genie successfully and develop good business relationships with customers.
  • A demonstrated high-level ability to manage and develop a specialised team by setting clear expectations and modelling sound leadership skills at all times.
  • Superior technical knowledge covering all aspects and modules of Genie together with related technical issues.
  • Personal attributes of honesty and integrity in all dealings with staff, peers and customers.
  • Responsibility for running or ensuring that appropriate staff run Victoria and Tasmania based group training courses.
  • Successfully overseeing the training of new staff.
  • Encouragement and assistance with the ongoing training of existing staff.
  • Assist with the on boarding of new customers from Demonstration to scheduling a trainer for installation/Training, and post install follow-up. Remain point of contact throughout.
  • Excellent organisation skills required to manage multiple staff schedules and bookings to ensure customer install and training requests are fulfilled while ensuring staff workloads are tolerable.
  • You will be the final escalation point for our VIC/TAS customers.

Skills and experience

  • 3+ years' sales management experience
  • Software sales and implementation experience highly regarded
  • Recent experience in a field training position is a plus
  • Technology or health Industry experience is a plus
  • Effective written communication skills
  • High level of interpersonal skills including the ability to liaise, advise and interact well with other staff members and different stakeholders
  • Sound planning, organisational and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Energetic and flexible team player
  • Must have a current Australian drivers licence
  • Must have own transport
