Our pharmacy is offering the right pharmacist a much sought after part time opportunity. Ideally suited to either a newly qualified pharmacist, or someone looking to semi retire into a part time second pharmacist role.
Our pharmacy is located in Regional Western Victoria at Maryborough, a beautiful town of approximately 7,000 people and within a couple of hours of Melbourne, making time to catch up with friends easy.
A flexible roster with part time hours means that you WILL be able to have a life outside of work. There is no evening work as the pharmacy does not open late and only limited weekend work (Saturday mornings only) and certainly not every Saturday. The structure of the roster means that you can make plans outside of work to enjoy your off time. The total number of part time hours available will depend on the candidate as there is some scope to accommodate what the right person needs.
We have some exciting times ahead with a refit and relaunch happening in 2018, so we are looking for someone who wants to be intimately involved in this process.
Daily Responsibilities include the following.
• Dispensing prescriptions using the FRED system
• Serving and counselling patients in relation to prescriptions and OTC medications
• Support the team in completing NHS claims
• Liaison with Nursing Homes and Community Webster patients
• Checking dispensed medication

You must be a registered Pharmacist able to practice in Victoria. An above award salary will apply.
Pharmacists are required to perform duties to the standards and operating procedures of the business. Compliance to the guidelines of The Pharmacy Board of Australia, The Pharmacy Guild and our QCP programs procedures and processes are mandatory. Both newly registered and experienced pharmacists are encouraged to apply.
