THE ROLE
We are seeking a Dentist interested in a locum role starting from July to commit up to four months initially. This is to cover a transfer of another Dental Officer within the state. There is the potential for this role to lead to permanent in the future. You will be working within the dental team servicing the wider community. Additionally, there will be some supervising of senior dental students so having the ability to teach is paramount. Clinically, having experience in oral surgery would greatly benefit you in this role. This will be working a 9 day fortnight, with no weekends or after hours required at all.

THE HEALTH SERVICE
You will be joining a service dedicated to offering health to the wider South West QLD region. The team consists of three other dentists, 2 students, OHTs and DAs in the dental clinic with wider services on offer through the hospital grounds. The clinic is set up with top of the line equipment and access to the onsite radiology department for any patient seen.
  
THE LOCATION
Located only an hour flight from Brisbane in inland QLD, you will be based in the heart of a regional hub dedicated to its local farming and produce. This is the central hub to many southern inland QLD towns and offers full amenities to any who visit or live. Equally, the chance to explore the stark beauty of the outback is on offer to all who visit.
  
THE CRITERIA
Shortlisted applicants must meet the following criteria:

• General AHPRA Registration
• Minimum 2 years Australian experience
• Experience in Oral Surgery
• QLD Radiation Licence
