Dental Hygienist or Oral Health Therapist wanted to join a busy Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery practice.
Role involves working along side the specialist surgeon as a treatment cooridinator and surgical assistant in multiple locations.
Specific task will include but not limited to:
- postop review of surgical patients
- removal of sutures
- management of early peri-implantitis
- taking of xrays and scans
- taking intraoral scans of patients
- preparing the patient for surgery
- administering of local anaesthesia
- assisting with surgical procedures (in theatre and within the practice)
- reception and admin tasks
Applicants must be registered with AHPRA as a dental hygienist or oral health therapist.
