About the Role

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to work at our Gill Waminda Aged Care Plus Centre an inclusive and caring community located just a few streets away from the heart of Goulburn town centre. We are a trusted aged care provider offering all levels of care including short term respite care and secure dementia care.

In the role of Registered Nurse, you will provide clinical supervision and be responsible for coordinating the delivery of safe, effective and individualised care to our care recipients. While experience in Aged Care would be ideal, we would encourage Registered Nurses with a passion for caring for the aged to apply.

 

About You

To be considered for this role, ideally we are looking for:

• An understanding, empathy, appreciation and the ability to promote the values and ethos of The Salvation Army.
• Current unrestricted registration with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency
• Demonstrated aged care experience, the ability to work as part of a team and promote education and leadership in aged care
• Understanding of and commitment to continuous quality improvement
• Experience in providing care plans
• An understanding of Aged Care Accreditation
• An understanding of Aged Care Funding Instrument (ACFI)
• Demonstrated organisational and time management skills
• Demonstrated well developed computer and documentation skills
