MCHNA is currently recruiting casual Maternal and Child Health Nurses to work casually across Melbourne.
To be successful you must have:
- Advanced clinical knowledge and experience in Maternal and Child Health and an understanding of current practices, theories and values
- Extensive knowledge of child health, development and behaviour
- Awareness of diverse social, cultural and religious backgrounds of children and families
- Experience in engaging, developing and maintaining working relationships with families, service providers and the wider community.
Applicants should possess initiative and enthusiasm as well as excellent interpersonal skills. High level computer expertise and effective communications skills are essential.
All candidates must have Division 1 Nurse and Midwife registration, Maternal and Child Health qualification or Post Graduate Diploma or Masters Degree in Child and Family Health, Working with Children Check and will be required to undertake a National Police Check.
