About the Opportunity

Our new Anglicare Corporate Services function has been designed to support and strengthen our Client Service teams. As a result, we have a number of new management and professional opportunities across four departments (Organisational Development, Governance, Risk & Assurance, ICT, Finance).

This is an exciting time to join Anglicare during transformation to reimagine new innovative ways of serving our current and future clients with the opportunity to make a positive contribution and difference.

The Department & Role

Governance, Risk & Assurance is a new Department responsible for positioning Anglicare to be in step with progressive reforms and advancing clinical and care excellence through governance, strategic research, quality assurance and risk management.

Reporting to the Director, this new role is responsible for:

• driving the strategic research direction and agenda, including research investment
• developing and implementing new strategic frameworks for research and evaluation, best practice and evidence-based approaches
• strategic policy analysis, development and advocacy.
• supporting effective implementation of Anglicare's integrated clinical and care governance framework and system.

About You

• Experienced research manager/professional (8+ years) in healthcare/human services sector/field
• A transformational leader and thought leader to drive research & innovation
• Proven track record in - managing a strategic research agenda/programme through third party partnerships, strategic research and evaluation frameworks, effective practice translation
• Policy development, analysis and advocacy experience
• Grants and tenders experience
• In-depth understanding of relevant policy, legislation, and the reform agenda
• Credible, engaging communicator with highly developed stakeholder engagement skills
• Demonstrated leadership and management skills
• A relevant tertiary qualification and/or Master’s qualification.
