About the Opportunity

Our new Anglicare Corporate Services function has been designed to support and strengthen our Client Service teams. As a result, we have a number of new management and professional opportunities across four departments (Organisational Development, Governance, Risk & Assurance, ICT, Finance).

The Department & Role

Governance, Risk & Assurance is a new Department responsible for positioning Anglicare to be in step with progressive reforms and advancing clinical and care excellence through governance, strategic research, quality assurance and risk management.

Reporting to the Director, this new position is responsible for the Assurance & Risk Management function for effective implementation of Anglicare’s integrated clinical and care governance framework and prudential management of enterprise-wide risk.

The role is required to drive a progressive assurance-based approach to de-risk and achieve sustainable outcomes in a highly regulatory environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring an effective enterprise-wide risk management framework for Anglicare
  • Within the overarching organisational framework, implementing an integrated quality assurance and risk management framework.

About You

  • Experienced (8+ years) with a quality and risk management background in healthcare/human services sector/field at a senior level
  • A transformational leader and strategic thinker with evidence of implementing systemic change
  • Experienced in developing and implementing assurance and risk management frameworks, systems, and policies
  • Proven track record in achieving sustainable outcomes through quality assurance and risk management programme delivery with frontline and business ownership
  • In-depth understanding of relevant policy, legislation, and the reform agenda
  • Highly developed stakeholder engagement/management skills
  • Credible, engaging communicator with highly developed stakeholder engagement skills
  • Demonstrated leadership and management skills
  • A relevant tertiary qualification.
